Interior
Eating at Crna Svinja is a holistic experience that involves more than just food. Settled in a hundred-year-old brick barn, Crna Svinja restaurant creates a much different impression than its exterior. Combining modern and industrial styles with a refined neutral color palette helps maintain a sense of calm and peacefulness. We have loved the old brick walls. Each brick has an exciting story to tell, and the details, such as exposed beams and lighting, give character to the whole place. The plants have been used to break the restaurant into intimate dining areas, but they are also a great way to bring nature in. In addition to the main restaurant hall that accommodates 80 guests, there is also a wine bar with a table for 12 guests, where you can try some of the best Croatian wines. In the second part of the Crna svinja restaurant, there is a hall in a similar decor style that can easily accommodate 200 people, making it perfect for weddings or other ceremonies. Should we say more about oak floors, massive beams, old brick, and glass walls? This place can quickly transform and adapt to any style.

What to Try in Crna Svinja Restaurant
Each plate at Crna svinja serves a memorable experience, a work of art! So you really can't go wrong with any dish. Everything is really, really good. The most popular one is the pig cheeks from the black Slavonian pig. We know, we know, this is not for everyone. But remember what we said before about trying new food, learning more about different cultures… you might like it! The uniqueness of this dish is not only in meat but in slow cooking for almost 10 hours. That's why the meat is super soft and delicious. Other restaurant specialties are Black Slavonian pork chops, loin from black Slavonian pig, and čvarci. You definitely have to try čvarci. It is one of the most famous and delicious snacks in Slavonia. They are fried and made of pork scratchings. Super crispy, salty, and addictive.
The menu is regularly refreshed according to the availability of local ingredients so you can try something new every time you come. And yes, there is something for the vegans too! From the tasty soups, Vegan parmigiana to the delicious desserts.
