Opatija will be hosting the most significant event dedicated to the real estate market on Thursday, May 18, and Friday, May 19. This event will showcase the changes that have occurred in the market over the past year, as well as the future development direction and current trends, mainly through exhibitions and the conference segment. The Adriatic Expo exhibition will feature presentations from some of the top agencies, developers, and investors operating in the Croatian real estate market, particularly in the premium category of residential facilities.
Furthermore, the fair will have a conference segment with over 15 presentations, lectures, and panel discussions by leading experts, developers, entrepreneurs, and investors. As a result, participants will gain access to valuable information that is typically unavailable in the world of real estate projects.
One of the most important panels will be the one about luxury real estate buyers. Distinguished figures such as the directors of Croatian representative offices for prestigious real estate agencies, Christie's and Sotheby's, as well as the innovative architects from ZDL Studio, renowned for their exceptional work in designing premium hotels, holiday homes, and residential properties, will share their valuable insights and experiences.
Using the example of Šibenik as a city that has been actively working for several years to become a city for life but also a city for investments, Mayor Željko Burić will present the Batižela zone project as an urban regeneration of a neglected industrial zone. The city of Makarska will show how, through spatial planning, they intend to put an end to construction devastation in the next few years and change the image of the city under Biokovo, while Bojan Bilić, one of the most recognized Croatian urban planners, will give different examples of urban plans.
Emanuel Tutek of Blue Rock Consulting and Professor Sandra Janković, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality in Opatija, will deliver a financial analysis highlighting key profitability indicators for hotel, camp, and marina operations. This analysis will offer concrete data to guide future investment planning.
The presentation of one of the most important investments on the Adriatic, Riva's resort, which is being built in Ičići and should be opened in 2025, will also be interesting. Through a new concept in project development and architecture, Riva's is expected to change not only the image of the hotel scene, but also the destination as a whole.
The fair is set to attract over a thousand representatives from top companies, financial institutions, the real estate industry, tourism and hospitality sector, as well as prospective buyers and sellers seeking reliable partners from across the region.
The Adriatic Expo will take place over two days at the Crystal Hall of the Kvarner Hotel, with working hours scheduled for Thursday, May 18th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, May 19th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Interested attendees can purchase tickets at adriaticexpo.com.
