1. National Park Brijuni

We always get back to this stunning gem! Offering an unspoiled paradise, the island of Brijuni enchants at first sight! Rent a bike or a golf car, and explore the islands' hidden marvels, such as lush gardens, ancient ruins, a safari park, and Dinosaur footprints. Then, head over to one of the Brijuni's most popular beaches, Saluga. 

2. Koversada

Experience Istria in the most unique way - by swimming on the largest naturist beach in Europe – Koversada. It has been a popular destination for nudists since 1961, offering a serene and secluded environment for those who enjoy sunbathing in the buff. And if you take a refreshing swim towards the islets just across the beach and follow the protected route that keeps you safe from boats, you'll discover a hidden oasis that's ideal for enjoying the sun or taking a dip in the crystal-clear waters.

3. Cape Kamenjak

Looking for your own private beach sanctuary? Find it in one of many hidden coves of the coastal belt, as many as 30 kilometers long. Cape Kamenjak beaches are hidden and offer a sense of privacy that's hard to find elsewhere. If you can't find privacy here, you never will. The beaches are rocky and wild, making them perfect for adventurous swimmers and explorers.

4. Kanova

Kanova near Umag is a small and intimate beach that is perfect if you're looking for a quiet and secluded spot to relax. It is surrounded by rocky cliffs and crystal-clear waters, offering a sense of peace and serenity. Despite its stunning beauty, Kanova beach remains relatively unknown, a hidden treasure just waiting to be discovered.

5. Lone Cove

Lone Cove in Rovinj is another beach jewel that is worth exploring. The beach is a part of the protected Zlatni rt forest, and it's only a fifteen-minute walk from the center of Rovinj; how amazing is that? Lone Cove is hidden away from the main tourist areas, making it a peaceful and secluded spot for swimming and sunbathing. Best of all, the sea is crystal clear, and the sun doesn't set until 9 in the evening.

6. Klančac

Praised as the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic coast, Klančac near small town Brseč is an Instagram feed gem! Surrounded by lush greenery and towering cliffs, Klančac offers a tranquil environment. But we must warn you that accessing the beach is challenging, and if you fear heights, it might be best to skip it.

7. Luka Beach near Rakalj

A true gem of Istria. Luka beach is hidden away from the main tourist areas and can be accessed by a 20 minutes steep hike. The hike, however, is well worth it as Luka Beach is a secluded paradise. The water is calm and cristal-clear, making it the perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming. The beach also hiddes a little treasure in its waters - an old wreck of a fishing boat located in the shallows, a few meters from the shore.
