Located in the heart of Croatia, in the city of Ogulin, Ivana's House of Fairy Tales is a unique multimedia and interactive visitor's center which celebrates the magical world of fairy tales and one of the most important Croatian writers - Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. Through the exhibition of Ivana's House of Fairy Tales, you will have an opportunity to learn what a fairy tale is and how it is written. You can also listen to beautiful fairy tales from different European countries. Particularly interesting is the ''Fairy Tale Library'' where numerous first issues of fairy tales are available - the bookworms will love this! Ivana's House of Fairy Tales organizes creative educational programs in literary and artistic expression, film, storytelling, representational and applied arts, and design throughout the year. They have one goal; to inspire children and adults with fairy tales and arouse a love for reading and creation. Pretty nice plan, right?

If you want to take a peek at how this famous Croatian fairy tale writer spent her days, go to her beautiful home in the city of Slavonski Brod. You will find it in the main town square of this Slavonian city. Full of details, the time in Ivana's house looks like it stopped. If you go to the house's first floor, you will find the original layout of the Brlić family apartment with all the furniture and decorations. From Ivana's shoes, coat, and antique English porcelain that was usually set on Christmas Eve. On the first floor, you will also find a library with old books and papers, a bedroom, a kids' room, and two salons, all authentic, with all the furniture and inventory from the time when Ivana Brlić Mažuranić wrote her best classics.
