The Pannonian Challenge is back and is set to bring the heat to the biggest city of the region of Slavonia – Osijek. From June 16th to June 18th, this no-ordinary event will leave everybody on the edge of their seat. This annual event is a magnificent celebration of extreme sports and urban culture in all its splendor. From the Simple Idea to One of the Most Exciting Events

The Pannonian Challenge has come a long way since its humble beginnings in the mid-90s. The festival was born out of the idea of a group of enthusiastic, extreme sports fans who envisioned a unique event that would bring together BMX, INLINE, and SKATE competitions in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Little did they know that their vision would grow to become such a huge event, attracting extreme sports athletes and fans from all corners of the world. As the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, the Pannonian Challenge is one of the most exciting and anticipated events on the extreme sports calendar. What started as an idea has evolved into a recipe for success, featuring thrilling competitions, exciting parties, and energetic concerts. It's a testament to the power of passion and perseverance and a true inspiration to extreme sports enthusiasts everywhere. 

As far as the festival is concerned, the prizes for the best riders at the beginning were symbolic, while today, the prize fund of the whole competition is one of the biggest prize funds of extreme competitions in Europe.

The Pannonian Challenge Location

Is there a better location for the Pannonian challenge than the as vibrant and exciting city of Osijek? Of course, not! Head over to the left bank of the Drava along Osijek's famous swimming pool complex, Kopika - there, the Pannonian challenge will be held. Find your seat, and watch in awe as inline skaters, skateboarders, BMX riders, and wakeboarders flip and trick their way through the custom-built ramps and obstacles. And when the sun goes down, the party continues with a DJ session in the Skatepark from 8:00 pm till 02:00 am. You don't want to miss that. 

BMX Freestyle Elite competition is held on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, starting at 9:00 am. The Inline and Skate competition is held on Friday, June 16th, 2023, also beginning at 9:00 am.

With its remarkable architecture, diverse cultural scene, and deep cultural roots, Osijek is an absolute must-visit destination. In fact, the city was graced with a visit from King Charles III and Queen Camilla back in 2016, which is truly impressive! So be sure to set aside some time to explore this wonderful place either before or after the event. Enjoy a stroll along the cobbled streets of Tvrđa, sip on a coffee at one of the renowned promenades with a view over the river of Drava, or indulge in some of the region's mouth-watering traditional dishes like Kulen, Čobanac, or Carp on Forks.
