Ponyland Ranch
Nature is often referred to as "the great healer" for its ability to enchant every visitor, clear the mind, and put you in a good mood. That's why we're confident that the experience at Ponyland will go a long way toward calming your everyday hustle. This miniature pony ranch sitting on the edge of wild and magical Međimurje Region is a hidden gem of all things small, cute and cuddly. Ponyland's staff of skilled craftsmen and caretakers takes pride in crafting the perfect environment where you can spend quality time with loved ones and be surrounded by nature's beauty.
The Vinko family is surrounded with animal lovers who care in selfless ways for their little ranch and happy residents. Ever since 2005, the Vinko estates have been home to ponies. As time goes on, more and more pony horses appear there.
At the Ponyland ranch, you can play with friendly Shetland ponies from Ireland, donkeys, dwarf Minnesota pigs, a Croatian Posavac mare, Himalayan goats, geese and ducks, Japanese silk chickens, parrots, and cats. That's about forty species of animals in total. Horseback riding, food handouts, and petting are all allowed in the ranch's pony area because they're used to the attention given by visitors.
The land is divided into smaller plots so that the animals can pasture on one part of the land while the other part's grass is allowed to regenerate.
From spring to autumn, the animals are out grazing. In the winter and drought, however, they need hay, oats, and corn. A stable for horses with a covered area where they can stay when it's cold or raining is a secure place, but other animals also have their own pens with a fenced-in grazing area.

Donkey's Milk
The family has developed an innovative method of extracting valuable nutrients from donkey's milk using a multi-step filtering process and introducing natural ingredients to the mix. This creates delicious, healthy products that are good for you.
In a new and fascinating study, researchers have found that donkey milk has the potential to offer many health benefits. The unique composition of donkey milk makes it the closest thing to human breast milk, and it's been shown to benefit the circulatory system. In addition, some have theorized that donkey milk may help manage asthma and allergies.
Visitors as Inspiration for the Vinko Family
Once the ponies came to the ranch, the number of children that would come in to play and ride horses increased.
This encouraged the owner Nenad Vinko and his family to allow children to play and ride with the horses more often, so they started going to various events where the children were delighted with the animals.
This is more valuable when children can see, touch, and play with animals. Visitors leave the ranch delighted, wanting to come back another time.
Birthdays and similar festivities are also celebrated in Mursko Središće with prior notice.
A Priceless Connection
The coexistence of people and nature is so important. Animals know how to touch our hearts, building trust and devotion and forming a therapeutic environment. That's why it's essential to visit the Vinko family at the Ponyland ranch!
