The beginning of December is reserved for the start of the city's favorite event, Adventura, which begins in the park with a concert by the renowned Croatian producer and composer Tonči Huljić and his band Madre Badessa.
The program continues until January 1st. Visitors to this year's Adventura can expect concert evenings and daily dance performances. Audiences will also be warmed up by many well-known performers, some of whom are making their premiere at Adventura: Songkillers, Vesna Pisarović, Hari Rončević, Željko Krušlin Kruška and Latino, Alen Vitasović and Šajeta. No less important are the many local musical groups that will perform in the park, among whom we should single out the traditional mid-day parties on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with Fenixe and Bagatin.
In this rich program for all ages, there will also be a traditional Fritulada, i.e., the Šibenik Celebration, while the releasing of lanterns as a humanitarian gesture will be reserved for the first evening of the new year.

The Music Capital of Dalmatia Once Again Confirms Its Status
Three floors of Šibenik's "Garden" with both original gastronomic and musical offerings; an outdoor ice rink located on the main city square, Poljani; the headquarters of the youngest creatives in the area of the Matija Gallery who, as part of Adventurica, the December program for the youngsters, also create every day the ecological awareness that began with the non-use of single-use plastic, and continues with reusable deposit packaging according to the "zero waste" concept, are what make the Šibenik Advent Fair special from the very beginning. Furthermore, the relaxed atmosphere, full of acceptance and love characteristic of Adventura, is now highlighted in the fair's catchphrase, "Armed only with Snowman", which, at the end of this stormy year of 2022, wants to send a message of peace.
The Main Attraction of the Šibenik Celebration Is the Global Music Icon Róisín Murphy
For the new year of 2023, Šibenik will have several stages in the old city core to celebrate Doček (waiting for the new year at midnight). After the unforgettable Stereo MC's, the main New Year's stage, on one of the most beautiful Mediterranean squares - in front of the Cathedral of St. Jakov - will be taken over by the world music icon, Róisín Murphy, who is returning to Šibenik after a fantastic concert at the Fortress of St. Michael in 2018.
She broke into the world music scene as a prominent part of the British-Irish electronic duo Moloko, after whose split this eclectic, eccentric and versatile artist began an incredibly successful career. She confirmed this with her 2005 solo debut Ruby Blue, and continued her musical journey with the even more successful singles with Overpowered from 2007.
After major concert tours, notable musical collaborations and the release of several albums, including her long-awaited fifth studio album Róisín Machine, which was recorded during the pandemic, she has garnered worldwide recognition. For many, it is the best album of her career, with which Roisin enters a new era of dance and club music and whose title explains itself: I am a machine that never stops.
It seems that the art-pop heroine will not stop even in Šibenik, where in 2023, she will stage a solo and an exceptional visually designed performance.
The innovative and unique Roisin will reveal herself anew to the Croatian audience with the premiere of her visual performance. The intimate, picturesque square protected by UNESCO will make it the most desirable club night of the year.
The best Advent celebration on the coast, some new locations, the old team, and the famous and always great atmosphere are waiting for you.
