About The Krapina Neanderthal Museum
The Krapina Neanderthal Museum is located near Hušnjakovo Hill - a locality that was explored at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century under the leadership of Dragutin Gorjanović Kramberger. Numerous remains of bones of Neanderthals, animals of that time, and other important material artifacts were found there, which served as a credible reconstruction of life at that time. The museum is also impressive due to its architectural, multimedia, and educational components, and it is obvious that every, even the smallest, detail was thought of.
