Ethno-Gastro Festival TOČ

Picture this: beautiful sunny weather, great company, even better food, and a historically significant location – that's the scene for TOČ. And it's happening in the delightful town of Nin, right in the heart of Croatia, from September 7th to 9th.

So, what's TOČ all about? Well, it's a unique mix of exciting experiences that'll tickle all your senses. From delicious food to local adventures, it's got it all. Led by the theme "Earth, Air, Water, and Fire," TOČ weaves together the essence of Nin's simplicity and vitality throughout its program.

"TOČ is a story of simple living, a fusion of intellectual, tactile, visual, olfactory, and gustatory experiences that intriguingly and authentically depict Nin," the festival organizers express.

One of the biggest highlights of TOČ is the food – and we're not talking about just any food. Chef Ivan Tartaro is a wizard in the kitchen, creating dishes that'll make your taste buds dance. He's taking inspiration from traditional recipes and local ingredients, so get ready for a flavor explosion. And to make things even better, sommelier Nina Štulić has chosen some incredible natural wines to go along with the festivities.

But that's not all – TOČ is also giving you the chance to experience the heart and soul of the town. They've lined up all sorts of awesome things to do, from boat rides and beach sports to music performances and bonfires to visiting the famous saltwork in Nin. You'll get to hang out with locals, do things the Nin way, and just have an all-around great time.

Fun, Informative, and Creative Workshops

TOČ is offering workshops too. These are for anyone who's curious and wants to learn. They cover all sorts of cool topics – from olive oil and distillates to the art of illustration with ink and wine. You'll even get to demystify natural wines and understand what "bio" really means when it comes to fish farming. The workshops are led by top experts, and one of them are Tomislav Filipović and illustrator Klara Rusan.

The whole point of TOČ is to capture the feeling of summer and pack it into three awesome days. They want to teach you things, make you laugh, and let you experience what makes Nin special – the laid-back, easygoing vibe.

The festival ends with a fantastic collaboration between Hook & Cook and Ivan Tartaro. Imagine an evening in a beautiful olive grove, with delicious food, fantastic music, and incredible wines. It's like a dream come true!

For all the information, check out the TOČ website. Just remember, spots are limited, so you'll want to jump on that ASAP.
