By now, you have probably heard about the benefits of drinking wine. An occasional glass of wine may prevent cellular damage due to antioxidants, reduce inflammation and rates of heart disease, and even positively affect mental health. So, it is no wonder that wine tasting has become increasingly popular.
Wine tasting is best done in wineries, where you get the most authentic wine-tasting experience. If you want to take in the Croatian wine-tasting culture, one of the best ways to do so is by visiting ROSSI Winery & Distillery in Istria.
We invite you to continue reading to learn more about wine tasting at ROSSI’s, a family-owned winery with a long winemaking tradition.
From a Small Family to a Wine Giant
Winemaking became the main business of the Rossi family in the 1980s. First, they mostly shipped to Slovenia until their business reached a bigger audience recognizing their wine quality. Then, the family invested in new technologies, branding, and expansion to make spirits, which allowed them to position ROSSI Winery & Distillery at the top of the premium domestic and foreign market.
An in-person visit to the winery is very informative and – yummy. Not only will you be able to taste different wine and spirit varieties, but you will also get information on the winemaking process. In addition, you may learn about new wines that you might not have heard of before.
