An Anniversary Celebration Like No Other
Located on Tomislav Square, in front of the stunning Art Pavilion, Ledeni Park has become a hallmark of Zagreb’s Advent festivities. This year’s opening ceremony promises a truly spectacular start with Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker ballet performed on ice. The dazzling performance, tailored to reflect local traditions, will transport visitors to a winter wonderland, complete with the magic of music, dance, and skating artistry.
But the fun doesn't stop there! The Nutcracker show will return on December 2 and 23, offering even more chances to witness this captivating story on the ice.
Activities for All Ages
Ledeni Park isn't just a place for skating—it's a hub for festive fun. Every Saturday and Sunday morning, kids can join free skating workshops, including lessons in figure skating, synchronized skating, speed skating, and hockey, organized in collaboration with Croatian skating and hockey federations.
Throughout the week, from 6:30 to 7 PM, professional clubs will wow spectators with their impressive ice performances. And for those looking for something truly special, the park will also feature highlights from the 56th Golden Spin of Zagreb, showcasing top-tier artistic skating talent.
Music, Food, and Holiday Cheer
No winter outing is complete without delicious treats, and Ledeni Park delivers with 15 food stalls offering festive delicacies. From steaming mulled wine and hot punch to strudels, sausages, fritters, and classic Zagreb štrukli, there’s something for every palate. A special kids’ menu ensures even the youngest visitors are catered to.
Music lovers will enjoy a diverse soundtrack as DJs spin everything from disco and funk to hip hop and soul, adding rhythm to your skating adventures.
Exciting New Features
This year introduces the Ice Park Shop, perfect for finding unique souvenirs to remember the season. For families, morning workshops offer creative and interactive activities for children. Special events like a meet-and-greet with Saint Nicholas, a Christmas Eve celebration, and a New Year’s Eve countdown on ice make Ledeni Park the ultimate holiday destination.
With extended hours on New Year’s Eve, you can even skate into 2025 under the stars.
Tickets for morning sessions are priced at €3.50, while afternoon and evening skating costs €4.50. Skate rentals are also available at €4.50. Tickets can be purchased starting Friday on the official Ledeni Park website.
