The beer holds a subtle, but steady grip on Croatian society. When it's too late for coffee and the sun is setting, Croatians will invite their friends to go get a beer instead. This is a grand reward after a long day's work. During the last decade, craft beer, the art of brewing and acclaimed international craft beer names have gained traction alongside already established beer culture. Beer heaven located in Rijeka, Goblet Beer Store, is devoted to the best brews.
It is in the year 2018 that the story of Goblet Beer Store begins. At that time, the Croatian market lacked a shop that offered craft beer from local and regional microbreweries, as well as microbreweries around the world. The Goblet Beer Store was born when a team of beer connoisseurs saw the opportunity. It is now the largest craft beer supplier not only in Croatia, but also in south-east Europe.
600 craft beers from all over the world
It is estimated that Goblet Beer Store holds more than 600 unique craft beers, which are delivered almost every week. There is beer on tap, which you can sip or take with you in a 1 liter glass bottle. There are more than 25 countries that import beers to the store, and they are constantly adding new ones. A few beers come from faraway places, like Russia, Brazil and the United States. There is no doubt that exotic shipments are a hot commodity, but so are local beers made in special batches. New arrivals are documented on the store's social media pages, so you don't have to worry about missing out. As a result, if you're following their posts, you can rest assured that all beer will be included!

Craft beer recommendations
Is there a drink you should try at Goblet? According to their own words, the store is a living organism because of the ever-changing selection of canned, bottled and draft beers. It would be counterproductive to vouch for a particular beer, so check the store's social accounts and menu on Untappd. We also encourage you to try the local beer production - how do you like Morčić Brewery's American Pale Ale, Brlog's blonde ale Plavuša (translates to blonde-haired woman), or Buzdovan's spicy, yet flowery Apple & Elderflower cider? Goblet also offers non-alcoholic and gluten-free beer for those with dietary restrictions!
Goblet Beer Store working hours
On Saturdays, the Goblet Beer Store is open from 10 AM to 2 PM and is closed on Sundays. However, if you didn't get your beer in time to enjoy a beer-utiful Sunday, don't despair! You can also browse Goblet Beer Store's website for even more beer, and dream about what you'll try tomorrow when it opens again! Besides the webshop, there's also a Goblet sister store in Zagreb, or you can read what other people recommend you try from Goblet Beer Store on Untappd, the app that connects beer lovers around the world.
