With two Michelin stars, under the leadership of crème de la crème of the culinary world Emanuele Scarello, this amazing restaurant in Italy amaze with its creativity and culinary expertise.

But here comes the good thing: in 2021, Scarello decided to bring a bit of that "Agli Amici magic" to Croatia in the picturesque town of Rovinj. With the name Agli Amici Rovigno, the restaurant, like his older brother, was a complete success. After less than three months after the opening, the restaurant was awarded with its first star in MICHELIN Guide Croatia. 

Among the reasons for this outstanding achievement, on the Agli Amici website, they state a very important one: "not taking anything for granted and always looking for new ideas to enhance the best ingredients of the territory." 

An Unforgettable Gourmet Experience With a View of the Old Town of Rovinj

Indeed, located in the heart of the marina, within one of the most luxurious Croatian hotels, Grand Park, the restaurant offers guests a unique and unforgettable gourmet experience. With a stunning view of the old town of Rovinj and the island of St. Catherine, every dish is imbued with a story full of flavors in which the richness of Italian tradition meets Istrian scents, the sea, the land, and its fruits. Those divine dishes brought the restaurant to a high 11th place on the Gran Galà della Cucina Italiana list of the 50 best Italian restaurants in the world for 2023.

Chef Emanuele Scarello designed two tasting menus - Agli Amici and Istra. Both menus bear Scarello's distinctive signature – sincere cuisine and strong personalities. The Agli Amici menu connects the landscapes of Udine and Rovinj, while the Istria menu introduces you to the charms of this beautiful Croatian peninsula. We are sure both menus will tickle your taste buds and take you on a gastronomic journey like no other.

The restaurant's wine list will not disappoint you either. Located amidst renowned Croatian wineries, Agli Amici restaurant unveils a delightful surprise with its meticulous selection of sommeliers and wine recommendations, promising to awaken a sense of wonder and delight. The restaurant's ambiance, like the food itself, exudes sophistication and luxury. Clean and elegant lines, warm and inviting colors, and breathtaking views from every corner you look at. Rovinj really offers that idyllic postcard setting. From the cobbled streets of the Old Town, the seagulls gliding above the harbor, to one of the best sunsets we've seen. And all that can be enjoyed from the Agli Amici Rovigno terrace. 

If you want to indulge into gastronomic delights crowned with Michelin star, make sure you make your reservation in advance. The restaurant is located on the city promenade Lungomare Plaza at the foot of the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj. Working hours until the middle of September are dinner only. All days of the week, closed on Mondays.
